Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced consultant, Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager with deep expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance Claims to lead large-scale claims transformation, modernization, implementation, and enhancement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of Business Analysis, Project Management, Stakeholder Management, and Claims Domain expertise, with hands-on experience supporting claims platforms such as Guidewire ClaimCenter and/or Duck Creek Claims.
This role will partner with Claims Operations, Product Owners, IT teams, Vendors, and Executive Leadership to drive business requirements, project execution, system implementations, process improvements, integrations, and regulatory initiatives across the claims lifecycle.

This position is hybrid and will require employees to be onsite in Morristown, NJ.
The position is full time and will include a base salary range of $90-$100K plus full benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, vacation, and 401(k) with company match.

Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Claims Transformation and Claims Modernization initiatives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Develop project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and executive-level presentations.
- Coordinate activities across business, technology, QA, vendor, and offshore teams.
- Drive governance meetings, steering committee updates, and project reviews.
- Ensure successful execution of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Lead requirements gathering workshops with Claims Operations, Adjusters, Claims Managers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders.
- Document Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements, User Stories, Process Flows, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Conduct current-state and future-state process analysis.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as SME for end-to-end Claims Operations, including:
- First Notice of Loss (FNOL)

- Collaborate with business users to optimize claims workflows and operational efficiencies.
- Lead business analysis and delivery activities for Guidewire ClaimCenter and/or Duck Creek Claims implementations, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
- Support claims system integrations with Policy Administration, Billing, Document Management, Payment, Fraud Detection, and Third-Party Vendor systems.
- Define business rules, claims workflows, integrations, and data conversion requirements.
- Support platform modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Oversee SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and Production Readiness activities.
- Review and approve test scenarios, test cases, and business validation results.
- Coordinate defect triage and resolution activities.
- Support release planning, deployment validation, and post-production stabilization.
- Support claims data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
- Analyze claims data, KPIs, operational metrics, and reporting requirements.
- Partner with analytics teams to improve claims reporting and dashboard capabilities.
- 14+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Delivery Lead within the Insurance domain.
- 8+ years of Property & Casualty Insurance experience.
- Strong expertise in Claims Operations and Claims Management Systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale Claims Transformation programs.
- Experience managing cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
- Strong documentation skills including BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Process Flows, and UAT artifacts.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter – Must Have
- Experience with Duck Creek Claims (Highly Preferred).
- Exposure to Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or Duck Creek Policy/Billing.
- Experience supporting Claims System Implementations, Upgrades, Cloud Migrations, or Platform Modernization initiatives.
- Experience working with Commercial Lines and/or Personal Lines Insurance.
- Knowledge of API integrations, Data Mapping, Data Migration, and System Interfaces.
- Experience managing offshore and distributed delivery teams.
